Breaking news: The HighWire with Del Bigtree (produce of the banned film called VAXXED, brought you the astounding ‘adjustment’ made to Covid-19 mortality predictions by the lead expert.
The Dailywire.com article cited in this report has since changed the headline of its article to 'Epidemiologist Behind Highly-Cited Coronavirus Model Drastically Downgrades Projection.' Dailywire.com also added the following correction to their article: "The article has been revised to make clear that he provided a downgraded projection given the new data and current mitigation steps. This article has also been updated to include Ferguson’s clarifying statement posted on Twitter on Thursday."
The underlying issue discussed in the video is that the computer modeler who created the initial pandemic projections that governments around the world have been relying on to shut down the world economy, has seriously revised his numbers downward by 99% from 2.2 million deaths to 20,000 in the USA.
Epidemiologist Neil Ferguson, who created the highly-cited Imperial College London coronavirus model, which has been cited by organizations like The New York Times and has been instrumental in governmental policy decision-making worldwide, offered a massively downgraded projection of the potential death toll on March 25, 2020.
Ferguson’s model projected 2.2 million dead people in the United States and 500,000 in the U.K. from COVID-19 if no action were taken to slow the virus and blunt its curve. The model predicted far fewer deaths if lockdown measures — measures such as those taken by the British and American governments — were undertaken.
After just one day after ordered lockdowns in the U.K., Ferguson is presented drastically downgraded estimates, crediting lockdown measures, but also revealing that far more people likely have the virus than his team figured. If so, that would mean that the mortality rate is also exponentially lower than the fear porn numbers they have been hyping in the media.
Our own investigations that have been published through this news site, already revealed this fact but confirmation from other sources like this, validate the viewpoint that the numbers are completely made up and bear no resemblance to cause and effect reality.
